In short, a payment for a DomainAgent plan is final. We return money in three situations only, listed in section 3, and you can cancel any plan yourself at any time so the next renewal is never charged.
This policy covers the subscription you pay us for. Money for a domain you buy or sell never passes through us: it moves through the licensed escrow partner chosen for that deal, under the escrow terms.
1. Subscription payments are final
Every DomainAgent plan (Investor, Pro, Portfolio and Agency) is a monthly or yearly subscription. The fee buys access to the four agents and the limits listed on the pricing page for that period. Access opens in full the moment the period is paid, so the fee does not depend on how many checks, contacts, negotiations or deals you actually run.
Before you pay, the deal check on the homepage and the one full report included with a new account show you the status, value range, comparable sales and offer plan exactly as a paying account sees them. What a plan adds (outreach, negotiation inside your limits, standing mandates, the Drop and Portfolio Agents) is listed plan by plan on the pricing page.
When you subscribe, you ask us to start the service straight away. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you confirm at checkout that you want the service to begin immediately and that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once it has begun. If that confirmation is missing for a purchase, the statutory 14 day withdrawal right applies to that purchase as the law provides.
2. Situations that do not lead to a refund
- You changed your mind or no longer need a domain.
- The agent did not close a deal during the period. An owner may decline, ask above your walk-away price or never reply, and the agent never goes past the limits you approved.
- A valuation, comparable sale or offer plan differs from the price you finally paid or received. Value ranges are estimates built from public sales, not a promise of a price.
- You did not use the plan, or used only part of its limits, during a paid period.
- A renewal was charged because the plan was not cancelled before the renewal date shown in billing.
- You chose the wrong plan or billing period. You can switch plans in billing; moving to a lower plan takes effect without a card refund.
- The rest of a period after you cancel. Access continues until the period ends and is never prorated.
- Someone you shared your login with used the account.
3. The three exceptions
We refund only in the cases below, only when our account and billing records support the claim, and only up to the affected charge.
Double charge. Our billing took two payments for the same plan and the same period. We return the extra payment.
Proven unauthorized charge. Your card was used without your permission, you tell us within 14 days of the charge, and the payment records confirm it. A statement alone is not enough; the records decide. We may ask you to confirm that you reported it to your card issuer.
Total service failure. A fault on our side made DomainAgent completely unusable for a continuous period, you reported it to support@domainagent.ai while it lasted, and we could not fix it. Slow runs, a single feature misbehaving, a mailbox provider blocking your outreach and problems with your own device or network are not a total failure.
A refund goes back to the card that paid, is limited to what you paid for the affected period, and is the full extent of our liability for that charge.
4. How to ask for a refund
Write to support@domainagent.ai from the email address on the account within 14 days of the charge. Include the date and amount of the charge and which exception in section 3 applies. We reply with a decision once the records are checked. Requests after 14 days, or on grounds outside section 3, are declined.
Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. A chargeback opened without contacting us first breaks the terms of service, and the account is closed.
5. Renewals, failed payments and cancelling
Plans renew on their own until you cancel. You can cancel in billing inside the app at any time, with no need to write to us. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund a period that has already started, and you keep access until that period ends.
When a renewal payment fails, your card issuer declined it. The charge for the new period is still due and is retried over the following days. Cancelling during that time stops later renewals but not the amount already due for the current period.
Moving to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference right away; the new plan switches on once that payment succeeds.
6. Records we keep
For each subscription we keep the plan, price and billing period shown at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the confirmation email, renewal notices and the activity log of the account. Our payment processor keeps its own record of each charge, including card authentication. We use these records to assess any claim under section 3 and to answer a bank dispute.
